Paper or Plaskett

There's a reason that I love this town. Well there's several but my favourite at the moment is  Joel Plaskett. Sonic Concerts just announced that the ECMA  nominated Joel Plaskett will be giving a show March 28 at Olympic Hall (my favourite new venue BTW). Tickets are $30.00 (plus tax and annoying fees) and $35.00 at the door. Just to give you that extra edge on getting tickets, pre-sale tickets can purchased here. For those of you not in the know, Joel Plaskett is currently nominated for 2 ECMA awards. He's nominated for Best Rock Recording of the Year,Scrappy Happiness and Fan's Choice Entertainer of Year. Also nominated for Fan's Choice are Wintersleep, The Trews, The Stanfields and Rich Aucoin. Think long and hard,  and go here to cast your vote. While you're at it, cast your vote for Fan's Choice Video of the Year. Matt Mays, don't think about it just vote Matt Mays.

And if one Joel Plaskett show wasn't enough, he's also the musical guest on the Halifax leg of the Vinyl Cafe. If you don't know what the Vinyl Cafe is, Google it. Google it now! The show will be taking place at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium Feb 19 - 22.
